This is the photo I really wanted to use for our Christmas card this year, but apparently the picture would have printed blurry. 🙁
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and for those that don’t, blessing of the season.

I’m going to try and make this a quick one, because ya’ll, it’s Christmas Eve and you should be spending it with your families, or at the very least be chained to the kitchen like me, preparing for tomorrow. 🙂
I love using the dogs for photo Christmas cards. My problem is I typically wait too long and then I’m left scrambling to pull something out at the last minute. Please tell me you do this too!
This year I was determined to change that, except I couldn’t find the prop I wanted to get the picture taken, so I ended up (once again) throwing something together.
Originally I was going to go with this one.
Then I thought, well you already used this picture for Thanksgiving, you’re kind of cheating your readers. So I found another photo which I absolutely loved (check back tomorrow in between your festivities for a quick peek,) and I got it all set and then was told the cards would print blurry. So it was back to square one.
Since neither dog wanted to cooperate in the same frame, I took two pictures and melded them together and came up with this.
I was so excited at the way the card came out that I took a picture with my phone (hence the grainy look) and sent it to Hubby. He responded with, “ROFL that’s awesome, but why does it say Anderson Family on it?”
Ooops, my bad. I was so excited about the card I forgot to change the name. 🙂
Regardless, that is the photo I went with. (After I fixed the name of course!)
Since tomorrow is Christmas and I expect you all to be spending time with your families, I will not have a FUF post for you. But I will have a picture post. 🙂
Now go, go enjoy time spent with your families and if you don’t celebrate Christmas Eve, I wish you all the blessings of whatever you celebrate.

A couple years back I did a few posts about thoughts on a walk. To be clear, these were my thoughts as well as Sampson’s and Delilah’s. (Thoughts from a Walk, More Thoughts from a Walk, Thoughts from a Winter Walk, Still More Thoughts From a Walk, for anyone who’s interested in reading them.)
The majority of our walks, it’s just me and the dogs, and lately I’ve found myself saying things out loud. Like I’m not even thinking about it and my mouth opens up and BAM there it is! If anyone heard me, they might think I was talking to a person. But I’m not. It’s just me. And my dogs.
I have to warn you, I cuss. A Lot. And I’m not P.C. I’m not that nice lady you think, “Oh how sweet, look at her walking her dogs.”
No. I’m the lady that says, “Why are you such an asshole? Stop that right now. You’re a jackass.”
Anywhoo, one day last week I was struck with the inspiration to share the things I’ve said. But since my inspiration came near the end of our walk, I had to think back.
Are you ready?
Do you talk aloud when you’re walking your dog? What kind of things come out of YOUR mouth?
