The two little boys next door adore Sampson, and he adores them. If they are outside when we go out, he will Roo at them and as soon as they see him, they yell….SAMPSON! It’s the sweetest little thing.

This photo was taken Thanksgiving morning. Hubby was outside and brought Sampson with him. I happened to look out and there they were.

So damn cute.

You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

I realized this yesterday, sometimes my dogs make me smile for no apparent reason.

Yesterday when I was vacuuming, I looked over at the couch to find Delilah like this.

And it immediately brought a smile to my lips.

Why would a dog sleeping bring a smile to my lips?

Take a look at the photo.

  1. She’s stretched out. Not curled into herself like she’s in ‘protect myself’ mode.
  2. See how her back is to the open part of the couch? She NEVER sleeps with her back to anything but the wall or the back of the couch.

I smiled because in my mind, my girl finally felt comfortable and safe enough to actually relax.

When I look back at how far she’s come, it makes me smile too.

Delilah the way you jump into the car, when you see the hatch open, because you are so excited thinking you might go somewhere…

I'm just thinking this car might work better if someone was sitting behind the wheel.

Well there's 2 minutes of my life gone that I'll never get back.

Well, there’s no food in here, and no driver, what a colossal waste of time.

You make me smile.

My sister’s dog hates going in the car, but my dogs love it. How do your dogs feel about the car, do they get as excited as Delilah does?
