Dear lord in heaven, this dog made me laugh so hard. First he was standing there and then he sat. Thankfully I had my cell phone in the back pocket.

This photo was taken one morning last week. Every morning after the dogs eat breakfast, I wash their food bowls and I also wash their water bowl and fill it with fresh water.
Sampson usually waits while I do this and the day before, he’d waited by the spot I place the dish and when I set the dish down, he remained lying down and that’s how he drank his water.
The next morning, he waited a little further away, and so wanting to snap the photo, I brought the bowl to him. He took about three licks and when I turned the camera on, he stopped and looked at me.
And that’s when I laughed. (Although truthfully, I probably cussed too.) 😉

It happened yesterday on our morning walk. I heard the dog barking but couldn’t figure out where it was, but that didn’t stop Sampson. He started barking in response and his fur got all up on his butt, and I had all I could do to keep him from jumping around.
Do your dogs get all excited at the idea of another dog?
