You make me laugh (or smile,) the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

Delilah, the other day when you ran into the bedroom and decided to entertain yourself with a dirty dish towel….you made me laugh.

You make me laugh (or smile.)  The funny, sweet and loving things my dogs do every day that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

Delilah, the fact that you understand me when I say, “Babe, there’s a chippie out there” makes me smile.  The way you dart to the door and run like crazy to the place I pointed out to you, and enthusiastically try to catch that chipmunk….well that makes me laugh.

I saw a chipmunk go in here.

Delilah ran up the stairs, sniffed around and starting digging.  Here’s what she discovered.

I’m not sure you can tell from the two photos, but the hole she discovered is in front of the rock you see in the first photo.  She dug like crazy until she’d uncovered the hole.  And then…..

She tried her darndest to find that Chippie, which made me laugh.

Delilah, the brazen way you steal food…..

Feb 2 2014  Makes me laugh.

Backstory:  Late yesterday afternoon Hubby and I ran out to do some errands.  We were a little late getting home and I was rushing around getting the dog’s dinner ready and filling their bones for snack.

As is my habit most days I leave the refrigerator and freezer doors open when I’m going to be in there frequently.  While I’m doing this the dogs are usually hanging around the kitchen.  As I put the filled bones into the freezer and shut the door I noted that Delilah was not in her usual spot.  So I went looking for her.

I found her in the living room where she typically goes to eat her snack….snacking.

On a frozen bone she’d carefully and meticulously removed from the freezer.
