Lots of Smiles

September 23, 2018 By Jodi

I’ve been posting You Make Me Smile posts for over three years. That’s a lot of smiles, yo!

There have been times, I’m sure, when I’ve done the same or similar post, because honestly, I’m not keeping track.

And there are weeks, when I think, I have nothing to post that I haven’t posted already. Even though these guys really do make me laugh every day. I just don’t always capture it in a picture.

Then there are weeks when the dogs just comet through for me. Maybe on a day when I look down and see that Sampson is fully under Hubby’s chair.

Golden Labrador

So under, that Hubby can’t get out of his chair.

Let’s check this from a different angle.

Yup, he’s well and truly under that chair.

Of course we laughed. He’s just such a silly dog.

You make me laugh (or smile). The sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.

What did your pet do that made you laugh or smile this week?

This morning i was trying to sleep in, i fed Merlin, then got back into bed intending to sleep in cos i haven’t done for a while. Merlin came back and then went on to pull the bed covers off of me lol. I pulled them back up, he pulled them off and barked at me. So no sleep in for me then.

Lucky you noticed before anything ugly happened! Mom is actually a little jealous. She has always wanted to be a prisoner in a comfy chair with the remote on her lap and maybe something to read… Lucky guy. Don’t move, S. Take yourself a loooong leisurely doggie nap… Daddy will thank you later.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

Shadow and Ducky used to do that at times, but have learned not to the hard way.

Silly boy. Torrey sits right next to me when I work. I always have to make sure I’m not going to roll over toes when I get up.

I can’t count the times the dogs have held us prisoner in a chair or in bed.

Heh, heh…I’ll bet he’d smile if someone offered a nice treat so Dad can not be trapped in his chair?

My hubby would think that was the perfect excuse to spend the whole day napping. LOL

As long as hubby knows he is there, things are good. They both look very happy.
