We Got Our Money’s Worth

January 21, 2018 By Jodi

When Delilah joined our family, we knew we were getting a Labrador. What we didn’t know, was that we were also getting a vacuum, a source of amusement, a cuddle bug, a rule breaker, a garbage disposal, a walking partner, a clock, a dishwasher, an artist….I’d say we got our money’s worth.

Dishwasher you say? Yes please!

Sometimes she rolls a couple of her skills together…like yesterday, when she was pre-washing dishes for me. Somehow, she moved her bowl, around a wall and into the kitchen right next to Sampson’s dish.

Delilah’s bowl is the one with the raised bones on it, Sampson’s is the plain one, and the large one is the water bowl. I set Sampson’s bowl done to the right of the water bowl and she managed to move it away from the wall.

Naturally, I saw that, called Hubby in to view it, and then we both laughed. I guess we are adding feng shui to her resume. 😀

You make me laugh (or smile,) the sweet, funny, loving things dogs do that make us laugh or smile.

What did your pet do this week that made you laugh or smile?

Perhaps she is an organizational freak and wants all the bowls together??? My mom would do something like that if she was a dog.

Sam used to carry his dish around, but it was more of a gentle reminder that he was hungry. LOL.

Delilah, you are one multi-talented dog!! 🙂
I remember losing a cat dish once that I had let Kobi lick….I could not find it anywhere. Weeks later I found it behind the pedestal sink in our bathroom where the pedestal was open in the back (which was close to the kitchen…but still, he drove it around quite a ways! )

A Feng Shui artist too? Holy cow…you really did get your money’s worth. Thanks for the smile just thinking about all of D-Dog’s pawsome dog skills.

    Good job Delilah!

Shadow made me smile this morning when she ate her whole breakfast at one mealtime. I honestly cannot remember the last time that happened.
