When You Walk In The Room and Your Dog Is…

August 20, 2017 By Jodi

What?  When you walk in the room and your dog is what?

What could your dog possibly be doing that would surprise you when you walked into the room and caught him/her in the act?

You walk into the room and your dog KNOWS he’s not supposed to be on the couch, and yet, there he sits.

Or you turn your back on your dog in the yard, and when you turn back around, your dog has dug up your flower bed.

Or, you walk into the kitchen and see your dog with her head in the kitchen sink…

Hmmm….

At first I thought she was going to help me with the dishes. Then I realized, Delilah doesn’t do the dishes the same way I would!

What have you caught your dog doing that really surprised you?

If my sisters were tall enough, they would probably hang into the sink too! Madison is always on the furniture…because Bailie taught her to do that. As for the sink, drains are fabulous because of all the odor they have. You humans have no idea what we learn from drains, either in the sink, or out o the road.

This morning, I turned around to get my coffee and in that half a second, Rye popped up and stole the muffin I’d set on the counter to eat with my coffee. She’s exhausting.

Nothing Ducky does would surprise me much any more…at least not behind my back. Sometimes her bratty side comes out against Shadow when I’m sitting right there, but she’s mostly over that now.

Callie was my counter surfer until she had her first CCL surgery. Thankfully, Shadow never picked up the habit and Ducky’s too short to reach. 🙂

They have all gotten on the dining room table and look like “Am I not supposed to be here?” It’s our fault for not pushing the chairs in.

BOL…I’m thinking D-Dog is the pre-rinse for the dishwasher. That’s helping, isn’t it?

Lily says that maybe she heard a noise coming from the drain. gotta check it out for mom to keep her safe. who knows what dangers live in the pipes.
glad you had your camera handy. lol over the pic. i can just imagine her looking at you with a ” what?! I’m just standing here “look.
i get the ” what?! ” look from Lily whenever i catch her laying in a hole she has dug.

Luke with his head in the sink, or paws on the kitchen counter, isn’t really a surprising sight around here! If he was sitting by the counter nicely when there was something edible on there, now that would be surprising! LOL
