When my two oldest daughters were small, they had blankets that they carried with them everywhere. They wouldn’t go to sleep without them, so one of my chores was to remember where they’d been in the house during the day, and hunt “blankie” down. In fact, I have it on good authority they both have whatever is left of their blankie hidden away. 🙂
It seems I also have a dog that carries a toy with her instead of a blanket. Sometimes she meets me at the top of the stairs with the toy, and other times, she just carries it around.
The other day, she carried it over to her bed and laid down with it. It was so damn cute, I had to snap a photo.

Oh, Jodi, this is so sweet! Callie used to carry her stuffed toys around the house all the time. She had a few favorites, but MY favorite of them all was her Snoopy. He still sleeps on the dresser across from my bed. 😢 Shadow loves her tennis ball from her and Callie’s ChuckIt! toy; and Ducky loves her Kong Wubbas.

This really is a sweet “awww moment” that you captured perfectly. I don’t think I have any for the past week… Todd killing a mole yesterday was more of a “YIKES moment!” 😉
We have our times when we grab our favorite toy to carry around or we race upstairs to get our wabbits sometimes when Mom comes home.
Awwwww, that’s so cute. When Torrey was little she would bring her chew toy to bed every night.

Awww is right! Elsa drags her toys and hoofs into every room with her. I LOVE it when she stands over a toy, barks at it, stands statute still then pounces on it. Man, what I wouldn’t give to know what’s going on in her short circuited brain! ❤︎

Aw, I love it when they snuggle with their toys like that! Cricket is so cute when she grabs a toy that’s almost as big as she is, and drags it down the hallway, tripping over it half the time! It’s my favorite part about weekend mornings, because it is always toy time for her.
That is such a sweet photo! Barley carries toys around and naps with them, but Rye destroys toys so Bar doesn’t have as much opportunity to be that sweet anymore.
