You Make Me Laugh – March 12, 2017

March 12, 2017 By Jodi

You make me laugh, (or smile). The sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.

Sampson, the way you have to get to the car window, no matter who is in the way….you make me laugh.

Delilah, the way you can sleep in the car, with someone standing over you, YOU make me laugh.

This was yesterday, on our way home from the vet. (We had a very lengthy vet visit, as it seems both Delilah and Sampson have urinary tract infections, AGAIN. I’ve really got to write about this since we’ve been battling urinary infections since the middle of December.)

The dogs usually lie down when we are on the highway, but “want the window” when we’re going a bit slower. But yesterday, Delilah was just too pooped. She slept all the way home.

Is your dog comfortable with a person, or dog standing over them like this?

When you have had your fur sibling for years, you know them and trust them and it seems they can do just about anything without being disturbing. Bummer with the UTI’s. I had one 2 years ago that was a long term thing. Finally took some super drugs ($10 a pill for 3 weeks) and it went away. No fun for the dog or the bank account! Hope they get better soon.

I need to stand on the console and watch out the front windshield of the car. I can’t miss a thing. Except for the time Mom put me in the front seat. Then I stood on the console and looked out the BACK window of the car all the way home. I have a feeling I might have missed something…..

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

They’re too funny! Yes, Luke will stand over Cricket at times, and she does not care one bit. She just ignores him. He jumps over her too, and she sometimes just walks right under him if he’s in her way.

So sorry to hear about the UTI’s! I hope you got some answers at the vet, and get a chance to fill us in on it.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still dealing with UTIs! I hope you all get a break from that soon. I love this picture, though!

Adorable picture. Delilah looks a little stressed out and Sampson looks like a politician seeking re-election. Sorry about the UTI.

Aw, poor babies! UTIs are no fun to deal with when it’s just one dog at a time, never mind both of them. I don’t miss the days when all 3 of mine were dealing with digestive issues at the same time. (But I DO miss having all 3 girls healthy and happy!)

Shadow and Ducky are sending loads of POTP for healing of those UTIs! Love and Kisses and healing energy from me. 🐾🐾❤

I don’t know if my dogs would like the standing over them. Sorry to hear they both have had UTIs. Hope they clear up soon.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear the UTI’s are still an issue. The only time Haley had one was after visiting my parents when their lab had one. Everyone tells me they’re not contagious, but I still wonder if Haley somehow picked it up at their house. I hope both Sampson and Delilah can get rid of the darn infections and feel better soon. Hugs to all three of you!💗

After years of owning two OESs with their big fat heads always in the rear view mirror, Sam goes Flat Stanley in the car. He LOVES the idea of going for a ride, but immediately flattens out once you turn the ignition. Elsa too. It’s actually kind of nice not to have to deek and dodge dog heads while driving. 😁
