You Make Me Smile – November 13, 2016

November 13, 2016 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh,) the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.

Sampson, the way you take any opportunity to soak up a bit of sun…

Smiling Golden Lab

You make me smile.

Friday I took Sampson in for his annual vet appointment. Since in fell smack dab in the timeframe we usually walk in, I decided I would take him to the college and give him a change of scenery.

As we were getting close to the car, I dropped his leash so I could set-up his ramp, and he took the opportunity to drop down in the grass and grab some last rays of the autumn sun. That smile on his face just made my heart swell.

Does your dog take advantage of unexpected opportunities?

Usually do do something naughty, not nice like he is doing. Look how happy he is!

The Poodles don’t care much for sun bathing, but our golden Chamois takes every opportunity to commune with the mother ship.

Aww that look of pure satisfaction/bliss is priceless. Now that it’s getting colder I can really appreciate just how awesome sitting in the sun really is.

A dog after my own heart!

Nothing like a sun puddle (inside or outside) to put a smile on a face in November. Enjoy the sun and warmth on your sweet face, Sampson!

Oh Sampson, you just made me smile! Dogs surely know how to seize the moment.
