Hello and Happy October 1st to you! Can you believe it is already October? Where did the year go?

The Groomer Man Cometh and Goeth by Five Sibes Mom at FiveSibes – I’ve followed a couple of Siberian Husky blogs and always wondered just what the hell ‘blowing coat’ meant. Well wonder no more! The Groomer Man (who cometh to their home) shows us exactly how much fur those Sibes have! Enough for another dog. No, siriusly.
Spotlight: Greyboy Pet Prints by Beth at The Daily Dog Tag-I’m not one for decorating in my home. Honestly most people would probably call it early Pioneer (LOL) but I do so love to have photos and paintings hanging on the walls, or set out to look at. Now imagine taking one of your favorite photos and turning into a sketch. Wouldn’t THAT be amazing?
So Much to Love by Sue at Forever In My Heart – Of course I had to choose this one. Ducky reminds me so much of my own Delilah. (And what can I say, I love a challenging dog.) Those dogs that really challenge you, are so rewarding when the hard work pays off. I can’t believe she’s been with Sue for four years already! Happy Gotcha Day Ducky!
Honorable Mention
Positive Pet Training: Nose Works by Jan at Wag ‘N Woof Pets – When you have a fearful or reactive dog, I’ve discovered that positive training is the way to go. Watching Jan work with Luke and seeing his confidence shine through, reinforces that belief for me.

Aw, thanks for including my post about Ducky as one of your favorites!! She has definitely been a “challenge”!! But we do love her dearly, just as you love Delilah. Ducky has been a bit snarky towards Shadow this past week, and last night was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. But she’s behaving herself much better this morning, so far, thanks to having had certain privileges revoked immediately last night. Meanwhile, Shadow has been extremely patient with her – just like Callie taught her to be – and earned some extra love from us as a result. (Admittedly, I was pushed beyond my limit last night and let Ducky know it. But I “recovered” a little while later.)
Since Poodles never blow their coat I always was curious about what that meant too. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for including my post on Greyboy Pet Prints! I love living in the digital age, but I really think every person should have prints of their pets. I was thrilled to see that there are groomers who make housecalls! I can’t imagine trying to get several Huskies to a groomer at once!
I hope that you can get back to blogging regularly soon!

As for decorating, I tend to think of of the Ranch as somewhere in the ‘primitive cave’ category. That said, I like the idea of pet prints post. And well…who doesn’t love Ducky and her mom? ღ
