You Make Me Laugh – July 3, 2016

July 3, 2016 By Jodi

You make me laugh (or smile), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

Delilah, the way you never stop trying to find food, even when you are at the vet’s for a urinary tract infection…

Chocolate Labrador

You make me laugh.

This was her snarfing around my purse last Monday at the vet’s office. Honestly, she never stops thinking about food.

She sounds like my cat bro Bert. He never stops searching for food either.

LOL I’d take that as a sign she’s feeling better!

Oh Delilah!! You are a mess, girl! But that’s one of the many things we all love about you! 😘

If it distracters from being afraid, it is an excellent thing to do!

She sounds like my little rescue Chihuahua who must have had some hungry days in her past and like Scarlet O’Hara vowed, “Ah will nevah be hungry again.”

I can relate…I’m always looking for sweet treats myself. 😉

Too funny, but I love that it means she is not nervous at the vet’s office. My crew is always too nervous to think about food….they are too busy trying to find the way out!

I think you are very thorough, D. Purses are where moms hide GUM. I found some once, but Mom said the word, “Sorry Charlie. Dream on.”

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

Both my guys are so scared of the vet they literally need to be dragged into “the back”. But that doesn’t stop them from taking the biscuit they are offered once they get back there!

You did see this article back in May?:

(You probably even wrote a post about it and my p-brain just isn’t remembering!)

    Gives new meaning to “chowhound”

There’s got to be snackies in there

Hey that is a good thing. Can’t be too sick if thinking about food. 🙂

They do think about food a lot. When my wife rattles the cat bowls you need to get out of the way.
