Most times I find myself wishing for an eye for an eye.

All kinds of WTF on this one. The original story stated the dog had recently had puppies and been thrown from a car. At first I thought the owners might need to head over to The Poodle (and Dog) Blog for the Neanderthal or Lizard Brain award.
I thought, how hard could it really be to track these assholes down? I mean at some point they need to sell or give away the puppies, right? A smart cop would be scouring the papers/Craig’s List for the next month or so and should easily be able to discover the douche bag that threw the dog out.
Case closed.
Enter the next bit of WTF. I bookmarked the page so I could reference it in this post and when I checked the Rochester, NH Police Dept’s Facebook page, it had been updated saying the story of the dog being thrown out of a car was fabricated.
FABRICATED!
Who makes shit like this up? And WTF for?
Dog Found in Crate in Intersection

This little guy was found in a crate in an intersection in Naples, Florida.
Brian Lachat initially thought it was a recycle bin. He watched as one car and then another hit the container. Then he saw the dog flopping around and quickly rescued the dog.
Turns out the dog had been surrendered to a rescue and was coming back from being neutered. Hopefully he was still juiced up on anesthesia because apparently the transport van lost the dog.
LOST THE DOG. And the crate.
How the hell do you lose a crate? Do you not notice a door is open. Or maybe think, hmmm I put three dogs in, but now there are only two…where did the third dog go?
How do you not know a door came open?
It boggles my mind.
I’m not trying to bash the rescue but maybe they should screen their volunteers just a tiny bit closer. Maybe one of their questions should be, WTF do you do to secure a dog in transport?
I’m at a loss for words, times two.
What can I say except to repeat what Mom says to us often…the world would be such a wonderful place if many of the humans were not in it. Sounds mean, but it does kind of hold true!

Good grief, and WTF? I’m glad all dogs involved in the stupidity of humans are OK though.

Ugh, and then there was the story about the momma dog that fell out of an airplane when the door accidentally opened up after takeoff. Fortunately, her puppies were all safe and were found roaming around the plane.
OH MY GOD. Which is why I NEVER want my dogs to fly. If I can’t drive, we don’t go!
I just read a sign that said the world is made up of protons, neutrons, electrons, and morons. That about sums it up.
In both of these stories WTF sums it up perfectly – how the hell do you lose a crate anyways?
WTF indeed. Dogs certainly are easier to understand than people sometimes. oy.

Those reallly are WTF moments. I agree too fabricated story why? People are just stupid!
I heard the first story and also wondered why someone would make something like that up. The 2nd story? Wow, just wow. I can’t even imagine how that could have happened.
I guess, at least the dog was found. :/
Some people are so totally f’ed up to the point where all you can say is WTF and yes, definitely an EFE. All you can do is pray that payback with triple interest is in the works. Sigh. 🙁
Definitely WTF. On FB I try not to pass along stories unless I can research because often many are made up. I don’t know why FB seems to be a magnet for that kind of thing. The lost rescue dog is really something.
