This is one of Sampson’s (and mine) favorite ways to snuggle. When I come home he lays on the floor waiting, then I snuggle down with him for a few minutes.
How do you reconnect with your dog when you get home?

That is so, so sweet! Mine are way too wound up to snuggle when I first get home. We have to have treats, and then play some ball. Snuggling comes later!

So adorable. I wish we had these quiet moments, but mostly I get the Dance of Joy that goes on for quite a while.
Oh how sweet!! Sampson is such a love!! Reconnecting with CindyLu means letting her go bananas jumping and squealing all over me when I come home…and that’s even if I just went out for five minutes. LOL The only time she’s as calm as Sampson is, in that photo, is when she’s sleeping.
Ducky does better when I quietly put her into and take her out of the crate. Once out, tho, she does give me sweet puppy kisses. Callie and Shadow prefer pats on the head for greeting us at the door.
That’s so sweet. I reconnect with Shyla in much the same way as you do with Sampson. On the other hand, R comes to me and puts his muzzle on my knee asking for pats.
