You make me laugh.
Every morning I have a smoothie, and every morning Delilah waits patiently for me to finish my smoothie so she can lick the glass clean.
For the record, that is a 16 ounce pub glass that is probably 7 or 8 inches high and she gets all but about an inch and a half clean.
Do you let your dogs lick your plate or glass? What is their favorite thing to clean up?

Mom has yogurt every morning. Cat bro Bert licks out the rim of the container, Bailie gets a tiny dollop in her bowl, I get the lid to lick and Katie cleans out the container. It isn’t much with so many wanting a piece of the good stuff, but we love it.
Delilah has quite the long tongue!
Just about everything that’s safe for dogs gets licked clean around here, and the yogurt containers are a favorite.
Around here, they don’t get to lick anything any more. My poor babies! Every now and then, hubby will run the tip of his index finger around the rim of his bowl of ice cream (after he’s finished eating) and let Ducky lick his finger (while Callie and Shadow are asleep). But he doesn’t spoil her, he says. Yeah, right!
WE are Forced to help clean ALL the dishes and plates and glasses in this house… it is a TOUGH job butt SOMEBUDDY has to do it. RIGHT????
Who needs a dishwasher when you have a dog:) Occasionally we allow some dish licking. Hailey tries and licks the dishwasher every day. They can be so silly!
My dogs serve as the pre-wash for dishes.

I admit to letting B lick my plate after I’ve had either over-easy eggs or something cheesey. It just makes washing the plate so much easier once Brillo Pad Berry has a go at it.
