You Make Me Laugh – October 12, 2014

October 12, 2014 By Jodi

You make me laugh (or smile) the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

Sampson and Delilah, the way you tend to look in opposite directions when I ask you to pose for a photo…..

Labrador-Retrievers

You frustrate me, but you also make me laugh.

Your turn, what do your babies do when you pull out the camera?  Are they posers? Or hosers like mine?

Well you know my mantra…. no treats no pose. Have a serene and easy Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

Sometimes when it’s picture-taking time, moms turn invisible and doggies go deaf or only understand Chinese.

    Love and licks,

Mostly, Bailie and I are posers and Katie always wants to look away, but if we don’t pose, looking in opposite directions is our number two choice. Mom’s last dog Trine and Katie used to do that too. I think it is a dog thing. Sometimes it does work out nicely for a photo, though. Have you tried carrying a squeaker in your pocket that sometimes will draw attention.

Mine are definitely hosers! We do way better with candid shots than posing.

First sign of a camera and they go wild. Suddenly they remember very few commands, if any. And they certainly don’t want to look into the camera. It’s like their in a witness protection program!

Actually, I’ve pretty much given up on asking my 3 to pose because they are such hosers/stinkers. Instead, I just try to always have at least my iPhone handy so I can take advantage of “perfect” photo ops.

Hi! We are visiting from Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries, and More’s post about Tara and diabetes. I was so surprised to find that your dogs’ names are Sampson and Delilah! I too have a Sampson and Delilah – the cat versions! It’s so unusual to find another Sampson spelled with a “p”. 🙂 My cat’s nicknames are Sampy and Deli (like a deli sandwich). Anyway, it’s nice to meet you! 🙂

It looks like they are posing with their profiles turned away from each other for an artistic effect. Really cute.

It is nearly impossible to get my 2 in a picture facing the same way too! It is sure funny trying to though!

Mine basically stop doing whatever it was that I was about to take a photo of. They do it every single time!
