You Make Me Smile – June 8, 2014

June 8, 2014 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh) the funny, sweet, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.

Delilah, the way you do your part in saving the planet by insuring the recycling is clean…..

Potato sticks! I didn't get any potato sticks.

Let me check this to make sure it's clean.

Yup, sure enough, they left one. Good thing they have me!

You make me smile.

What about you?  Do you have any recyclers amongst you?

    Hi,
Gussie is definitely a recycler. It started with an unopened jar of peanut butter that he made sure was sparkling clean when we got home. He managed to chew the top off, pull away the foil covering and devour the entire jar!
We always save the last of the ice cream carton, peanut butter jars, and mayonnaise jars. He continues licking it long after every vestige of food is gone for any lingering flavor. After it is empty, he will carry it around like a lovey. Pretty sweet boy that makes me smile.

LOL! That is funny! Bailie and cat bro Bert would do the same if they could get to the trash/recycling!

lol, mine do that all the time too! Mostly when John is done with his cottage cheese container he gives it to the dogs to lick out.

It’s a dirty job but someone’s got to do it, right, Delilah? The favorite to clean around here is the ice cream cartons!

I won’t say how my girls help us recycle as I’m sure you can guess why. LOL. I’m just glad they don’t do it too often!

ha ha my two also help. Mity in particular will look at everything put into the bin in a “you sure you wouldn’t rather feed that to me” kinda manner!

Honey’s specialty is to clean out yogurt cups. When she hears me scraping the bottom of the cup with my spoon, she magically appears to clean it up for the recycling bin.

If I ever do the truly green option and make my own yogurt, Honey will be devastated.

Dogs are such funny and interesting creatures. Some days you can just sit back and watch them do their thing, it can be pretty entertaining.
