You Make Me Smile – April 6, 2014

April 6, 2014 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh.)  The funny, sweet, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that bring a laugh to my mouth or a smile to my lips.

Sampson, the way you stared out the door at the Vet’s office last week, waiting for the next person to come in and love on you…

4-6-14

You made me smile.

**You can just barely see his left knee in this photo, but if you look closely you can see the Seroma jutting out right where the knee bends.

I’ve been using warm compresses on his knee four to six times per day and the circumference of the Seroma seems to be shrinking.

Your turn, what do your babies do that make you smile?

Bailie and I are real wigglers when we are excited. Mom loves to see our little butts and tails going back and forth. Glad the swelling is going down a bit. Just think you almost have two weeks behind you already. Have super Sunday!

This morning the dogs were all on the bed chewing on their various toys, rolling around and sharing them off and on. Luke makes me smile when he licks Sheba’s nose! I think he might be trying to distract her so he can steal her toy, but it’s still so cute!

Awww…I did not realize he got a seroma. Hope it goes down soon. Glad he’s such a good patient and loves his friends at the vet. That helps a bit to take the stress off the visits. Feel better soon Sampson!

Sampson, we know that you are going to be back to your Wonderful self in No time at all. Those warm compresses must feel SO good.

Ducky makes me smile when, after I’ve scolded her for starting a growling match with Shadow, she goes to Shadow and submissively licks her lips.

My guys would never be that calm at the vet’s office. They would all be looking for an escape route.

Of course he was watching for more peeps to come in and pet him. Who wouldn’t want to love on him. Glad to hear his seroma is getting smaller. Couple more days and off with the cone. Have a great Sunday.

    Aww so sweet!
Poor Sampson!!! I would love to come love you!
Its funny because when I walk down the street, so many people always want to pet my huskies, so when a person walks by and pays no attention to them, they just sort of state at the person like “um what are you waiting for? Come pet me now!” Haha
