You Make Me Smile – February 16, 2014

February 16, 2014 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh) the silly, funny, loving things my dogs do that put a smile on my face or a laugh on my lips every day.

Delilah, the way you do everything you can to avoid taking a selfie with me.

Selfie You make me smile.

Have you taken a selfie with your dog?  Sampson’s pretty good with it, but Delilah….well you can see for yourself.

Does your dog like it or not?

Sound off in the comments.

LadyBug is really good….Chloe not so much! She doesn’t really like the camera!

    Best wishes Molly

Selfie, us-ie, Cupcake is always on board. She thinks she’s Kim Kardashian!

We did two last week and I thought it was weird. I wasn’t quite sure what Mom was trying to do with her phone, but we got two of them.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I can’t imagine I’ll get much cooperation! Maybe with Sheba, I’m not sure either Cricket or Luke would sit still long enough. 🙂

Still a cute picture. not so good with selfies here, usually I look like a tard.

LOL! It was difficult with Maya too since she kept trying to lick me. But I finally got a good one.

Mmmmmmm, sometimes, With both dogs. I swear they know what the camera is all about and it will steal their soul if they look at it.

All photos with our dogs involve too many treats!

Ha! I have not tried taking a selfie with Haley but now that you bring it up I feel I should try. She is the type of dog, much as it appears Delilah is, who turns her head sharply at the sight of a camera or when caught on “film” has glowing devil dog eyes.

I don’t imagine our selfie will turn out, but it will be fun to try.

Cute! Rita sits still but looks terribly put out when I take a selfie with her.

Can’t get Dakota to be still enough to do a “selfie” BOL!

I love your selfie shot. It is almost impossible for me to get a “good” selfie with my crew.

What a great selfie! Lady doesn’t take them as she hates most pictures of herself!

My dogs wait til I pick up the camera and then stop doing the uber cute/funny/looking in my general direction thing and suddenly become obsessed with licking something I don’t want a picture of!

    LOL Delilah is camera shy!

Since I am camera shy, and my dogs are not, we have never attempted a selfie together. I belong on one side of the camera, and they on the other, and this seems to work best for us! lol

Silas just looks anxious when it’s selfie time. He’ll sit patiently for the photo, but then it looks like I’m torturing him.

Delilah is much more sneaky, with the blurry head bobble.

I’ve lucked out with the odd one, but most usually end up with Moses or Alma looking like a big black blur.

  20. Kirsten says

    February 17, 2014 at 4:55 pm

Yes we have! They don’t seem to mind too much, as it is another excuse to be pet and kissed.

  21. Flea says

    February 17, 2014 at 5:04 pm

I took a selfie with someone else’s dog today. Does that count?

  22. Lindsay says

My dog hates selfies. He looks away and starts to get stressed out. Poor guy. He’ll try to lie down and he licks his lips.

I try to give him treats whenever I “force” him to take selfies with me, or any pics.

  23. Donna says

    February 18, 2014 at 11:26 am

I have not yet attempted one. Actually, I haven’t even done a selfie of just me. I kind of feel the same way as Delilah about photos. 🙂

    How cute!

Anytime my Mum comes near me with the camera I look away! I think it’s funny! 🙂

    I hope you’re having a fun day,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂
