You Make Me Smile – February 9, 2014

February 9, 2014 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh) the silly, funny, loving things my dogs do that put a smile on my face or a laugh on my lips every day.

Delilah, the way you lay on the floor with your paws crossed, like you are some prim and proper dog….

CROSSED you make me smile.

Your turn.  Do your dogs do anything that would lead someone to believe they were something they’re not?

Sound off in the comments.

Wait! You mean Delilah is not a prim and proper dog? We would never do anything to mask our true selves 😉

I’m with you on the funny ways they sit. Both these dogs are weird sometimes.

That is sweet and so ladylike. Have a serene Sunday and make time for some big easy today.
    Best wishes Molly

Rita does that almost every morning while we hang out before getting up. So cute!

Shadow does the same thing! And then my “prim and proper” middle furchild rolls over on her back and falls asleep with her hind legs spread open like a little whore. Hehehe! 🙂

Haha, aww, so cute! Petal does that too and I love it. She’ll also avoid stepping in muddy puddles when we walk or when she goes out to potty, but putting her head in the cat box to eat “Tootsie Rolls” is perfectly acceptable and not at all gross or unladylike.

A prim and proper dog that likes to steal frozen chicken necks out of the sink. 🙂 Yes, Maya can look deceptively angelic. You’ve seen all those cute photos of her. Well, she is sweet. But if you’re meeting her for the first time she can be quite exuberant. You will get 67 pounds of sweetness all at once, in your face, in your lap, whatever she can get away with giving you.

She is prim and proper or she is just praying you will drop some food. LOL

I love the crossed paws. When I was first teaching Cupcake to sit up and beg, she held on to my hand for dear life, but with the crossed paws! Hilarious!

Faolan has everyone believing that he is all sweet and innocent, but he is not all the time. Such a cute picture, Delilah posing like a model.

Careful that makes it sound like you don’t think she’s prim and proper??!! ;0)

Princess lays the same way! And she just started crossing her paws and covering her eyes when she knows I want to clean them!! Funny!

Jodi…I got news for you – (as if you didn’t know 😉 ) – I think that “prim and proper” thing is all an act. LOL!
