You Make Me Smile – January 19, 2014

January 19, 2014 By Jodi

You make me smile (or laugh) is a way for me to share the funny, sweet and wonderful things my dogs do every day.

Sampson, when I come home from work and you lie on the floor with your tail thumping like crazy, waiting for me to love on you….

Tail wag you make me smile.

As you can see by the blurry tail, it was moving pretty fast.  He usually just lies on the floor waiting for me to lay down next to him and the closer I get to him the faster that tail thumps.

How are you greeted when you come home?

That is very restrained of Sampson but he obviously has you trained! Our greeting is two dog heads alternately popping through the cat flap door and our boy George trying to stick his biggest toy through the opening. Never fails to make us laugh.

Mom says our thumpy tails are the best. She can hear them thumping and knows we are happy about something! Happy Sunday!

Aww! That is so sweet! Silly, sweet boy. Petal greets me with a hug or sniffing, depends on her mood and how long I was gone. If I bring home groceries, she likes to take inventory and lecture me if she finds there is nothing for her, haha.

LOL! That’s an original greet. Pierson jumps on me. I know I shouldn’t let him, but he’s such a lightweight that it doesn’t bother me. Maya’s approach is generally more gentle. But if I happen to be kneeling down when I greet her, she will sneak in a big wet kiss.

awe that would make me smile too. Mine jump up on me and use my stomach like a punching bag. Crazy gang! Have a great Sunday.

I love the tail thumping. Ours always come running with their wagging tails when we get home. Luke wants to be picked up, but he’s very quickly getting too big and heavy for that!

Cuddle time is the best time of the day, bar none. As soon as Mom cracks open the door an inch, my bony little head squeezes through to start giving her kisses.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

Ty does that in the morning … when we come out of the bedroom he lays in his bed like that and wags is tail like crazy waiting for us to scratch his belly. It’s so cute!
