Matchmaker, matchmaker make me a match

Do you remember the awesome Pet Blogger Gift Exchange from last year that was created and hosted by Something Wagging This Way Comes?

If your new to blogging, or just plain haven’t heard about it (do you live under a rock?)  You can read all about last year’s exchange here.

Well guess what?  It’s back again!!  And I for one am super excited, what a great opportunity to get to know a fellow blogger and share a little holiday love!

I’m not even kidding

You may remember that last year Heart Like a Dog was paired with a cat blog.

Once I got over the shock of it, I found out that Cokie the Cat was totally awesome and his mom Kristin is awesome too!

Sadly Cokie passed earlier this year but Kristin continues to blog, in fact she’s got a brand new site up.  I’m not even kidding.  No really, that’s the name of her site, I’m not even kidding. It’s a fun site, with giveaways, gift ideas and a whole lot more.  Pop on over and check it out!

Our Christmas Card

You may recall I had computer issues earlier this year.  I had some pictures on the old computer that I thought would be perfect for our Christmas card.  Except when I finally got around to retrieving them, I’m not exactly sure it will work.

What do you think, is it worth putting this in PicMonkey and seeing if I can enhance it a little?

  2. Mom is having a fit about Christmas photos right now too. Love that stone fireplace with the wreath, very cool! I’m sure if you want you can dress it up so it works for you.

    I like the pic! They have a lot of cool effects on PicMonkey. You could probably add something that looks a little like a snow-y, soft-focus effect around the edges. I love playing with PicMonkey!

  4. GO FOR IT!!! You can do it! I’m still trying to not think about Christmas until next week, when I see Santa at the end of the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade. All these blasted stores with the decorations up already drive me nuts! It has nothing to do with the spirit of the season and everything to do with the “almighty dollar” and increased sales. “Of all the isms in the world, the worst is commercialism”!!

    Anyway, I’m looking forward to the gift exchange too! I wonder who Pamela will pair me up with this year?

  7. I can’t wait to see what you’ll do with the picture. It’s fascinating that so much of the chimney is intact. But I suspect you’ll want to crop it just above the wreath so Sampson and Delilah are bigger in the picture.

    Heck, it’s Pic Monkey. You can do all kinds of stuff until you get the best effect.
