One of the big reasons I started this blog was for all the crazy, funny things my dogs do that bring a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.
Sometimes it’s not easy to write a full blog post about it and sometimes I forget to share.
Some posts will be You Make Me Laugh and others will be You Make Me Smile, but they will all be the silly, sweet, funny things Sampson and Delilah do that help make crazy days just a little bit easier.

There’s been a big geocaching gathering in our town this week and we’ve had hundreds of folks come by the geocache at the house…Gizmo has been the official greeter and leader to all of them and has made me and our visitors laugh with his antics
Cupcake has started walking on tables as if they’re the floor. She just hops up on an end table and walks around up there. Meanwhile, everything on the table goes flying.
I always make peeps smile it is my mission. Have a serene Sunday.

Mom says I am just funny even when I do nothing because of the goofy way I sit or walk or wag my tail so hard she thinks it may fall off. My sister is not so funny but I am supposedly just hilarious 🙂 Thus…the reason the blog and stuff is mine!
OMD! Where do I start?! Ok, I’ll go oldest to youngest. Callie is such a sweet girl. She’s like a mother dog patiently dealing with her rambunctious offspring. So, when she has a toy that Ducky wants, she lets Ducky think she’s a clever, sneaky girl by letting her just pull the toy away. 🙂 Then there’s Shadow. Have you ever heard a Golden Retriever howl? It has to be one of the funniest sounds I’ve ever heard! I make her stop inside the house because it hurts my ears; but out in the yard, it just cracks me up. 🙂 And then there’s Ducky. Almost every thing she does these days makes me laugh, or at least smile. I’ll let you wait for my Monday Mischief blog hop post for the latest antic. 🙂
Dakota’s infamous greeting with his red,white & blue ball that he does EVERY time we return home from ANYWHERE no matter whether we were gone 5 min or 5 days. Posted it last Monday, it is always my fave thing!
What a happy photo and happy Sampson. Norman makes me laugh when he is staring the other way looking for me and doesn’t know I left because he can’t hear me then I call him and he turns around and runs to me with his ears all goofy and happy as hell that he found me. Have a great Sunday.
My son always said that if someone can make mom laugh, they can get by with anything.
I guess that is why I put up with babies, children, teenagers, puppies and dogs for all these years.
I was just thinking to myself today “Bella, you make me laugh every. single. day. It’s one of her greatest gifts to me.

As you can guess the dogs are always doing something to make me laugh–This afternoon it was Josh when he totally disappeared into the hedge dividing our property from the field. He came out with a couple small branches and sticks stuck on his head and dangling from his ears–He was totally oblivious,but he looked so happy it made me laugh.
shadow is my wee servicepoodle. she’s a rescue dog from a puppymill (she spent FIVE years in that hellhole!) and began to alert on my blood sugar lows.
but while she ALWAYS wants to be by me, she isn’t overly gushy about her love. so when we’ve gone to bed, and i’m reading in the dark (yay Nook!), she decides that RIGHT THEN is time for pettinses. she gets up in my face, between me and the e-reader, and runs her fluff-tail across my face, then looks over her shoulder like “hi mom! pet me time now!” 😀
I always smile when George uses my use of the bathroom as his cue to use the litter tray. 🙂
With the pack, there are always lots of laughs at our house! The other day, I laughed at Breeze doing a play bow to Forest…but since she is blind, she didn’t know that he had already walked away so she was play bowing to the television. Typical Forest, he looked at her like she’s a bit nuts. Deaf Azule was chasing butterflies around the yard and got caught in the bathtub eating yet another bar of soap…I could go on!
Leroy makes me laugh everyday at some point in time. It’s usually the head bumps he gives me when I ask for a kiss that make me smile the biggest:)

Maia gave me a full out right smile this past week and continued to do it for what seemed like minutes but I know it was only seconds, really made me laugh and made my day 🙂

My pups always make me smile. Tavish has a Chewbacca noise that he makes when he wants something – it cracks me up every time. Bella just always has a smile on her face that makes me smile in return. 🙂
