This ‘N That Thursday (10-11-12)

October 11, 2012 By Jodi

Once again we join our friends over at 2 Brown Dawgs for This ‘N That Thursday.

What you haven’t heard about it?  Here’s what 2 Brown Dawgs has to say about it, “This ‘N That Thursday is for those times when you want to post about unrelated topics or each topic isn’t quite long enough to make up a whole post.”

You’re very welcome to join us, it’s not an exclusive club. 😉

I love comments, the more the better.  I love hearing what you have to say, I love you sharing your experiences with me and I love the ‘conversations’ we have and the differences of opinions that make me think and in turn grow as an individual.

I also love answering my comments, each and every one of them and I’m really behind in that task right now.  I really, really miss my lap top, having to share a desk top is really cramping my style.

Not that I’m not grateful to Hubby for his generosity, I just want my lap top.  I want to sit in my bed, snuggled against my puppies, General Hospital on the TV and respond to your comments.  Is that too much to ask for?

Follow-Up Friday Blog Hop

You may have noticed our first co-hosted blog hop had a little bit of a SNAFU.  I’m working on getting the kinks straightened out and have sent an e-mail and am waiting for a response.

There will still be a FUF blog hop this week, it just won’t be co-hosted.  Hopefully everything will be back on track for next week.  If all goes well and she’s willing to participate my co-host for next week will be Kristine and her amazing blog, Rescued Insanity.

If you aren’t already a follower of Kristine’s your really missing out.  Yesterday she posted my all-time favorite story of Shiva.  If you haven’t read it, be prepared.  It’s outrageous!

Smiling Sam

Did you see that photograph, of probably a year or so ago when a woman posted on one of those photo sites of her dog at his birthday party with a big ole’ smile on his face?

Well my Sam-man smiles all the time, I tried to get a picture last night of it, because well he’s just so gosh darn cute.

Smiling?

What do you think?  Did I capture it or not?  Does your pup smile at you?

Big smile alright! Yes, our girl smiles too. She also does something else [I’m sure she’s not the only one, but it’s soooo funny to watch!] sometimes when she’s sleeping she starts wagging her tail like crazy. It’s so cute and we enjoy making up stories of the happy dreams she’s having! Duh, silly humans! 🙂

I love seeing him smile, Hubby swears Delilah grins, but I can’t capture her. What kind of stories do you make up?

I hope you get your laptop back soon I know it’s a pain.

Oh Gosh, Fozzie and Lamar have the silliest, most wonderful smiles. They both look like big happy goofbags when they smile, I just love it. Sam looks like he is in pure heaven with that head scratch–a sure fire way to prompt a smile.

He mostly smiles when we come home and are reuniting after a long day. Something about their smiles can make a bad day better. 🙂

With my laptop on my lap watching the Orioles and Yankees stream on the iMac, I feel your pain. Hope you’re back in laptop world soon.

BTW, I love your smiling boy. Honey is not very smiley. I guess she’s busy thinking deep thoughts. 🙂

Honey is definitely a deep thinker Pamela.

Hope that game was good, still married to Mike? 🙂

I think you captured his smile he is very cute!! I have several smilers here and some of them look scary when they do it, namely Riva because she is all teeth 🙂

Boy they could have built you a new one by now, hope you get it back soon!

Okay I told you I was not very good at the whole hopping thing so no I did not notice a snafu, what was it?

Cute photo! In our family, whereas Molly always looks like a sulky teenanger [lol] the baby either looks like a weird hairy Charlie Chaplin with her markings giving her a mini mustache… or… very creepy, her smile makes her look like The Joker. I kinda prefer she not smile, lol.
