Today is the end of my second weekend in a row, that I had more than two days off. I have to say I am really enjoying the holiday falling on Friday/Saturday because that means my company has Fridays off. Last week being the week of Christmas, I took Monday and Tuesday off as well. So last weekend I had a 5 day weekend! It has been a while since I have had some time off to just do nothing and that’s pretty much what I have done. I haven’t been in pajamas this much since I was a kid! It really makes me want to work from home. :-0
This morning my dear friend Mindy and I went to see “Little Fockers” I have to tell you this movie was funny, but in my opinion it was not as funny as “Meet the Fockers”. Don’t get me wrong there were some seriously funny parts and maybe it was because there was probably less than 20 people in theater, and I really think laughing along with people can really enhance the humor in a move, but I didn’t laugh nearly enough. To me the title “Little Fockers” meant that Pam and Gay’s kids would have been the focus of the movie, instead it was still very centered on the adults in the cast.
On the other hand we watched “The Other Guys” on New Year’s Eve and this has become my new favorite Will Ferrell movie. I’m really not that much of a Will Ferrell fan, (my previous favorite was Step-Brothers). I cannot remember the last time that I laughed so hard at a movie, if you are looking for something to tickle your funny bone, then this is the movie for you!
